SUNDAY IN THE PARK: Washington’s waterfront was packed Sunday night as Beaufort County residents and out-of-towners gathered in Festival Park to hear a performance by the North Carolina Symphony. For three years in row PotashCorp-Aurora and the Washington-Beaufort County Chamber of Commerce teamed up to bring the symphony to Washington for free concerts—the latest one in celebration of PotashCorp-Aurora’s 50th anniversary.
