Local Edward Jones employee, Roy Parker attended a national financial advisors conference. The conference provides additional training to help financial advisors with more knowledge to help individual investors in their communities.

Parker was among only 1,000 financial advisors who qualified out of the firm’s nearly 12,000 financial advisors in the U.S. and Canada.

The 2014 conference was held in May at the firm’s headquarters in St. Louis, Mo.

“Qualifying for this conference shows a tremendous amount of discipline, commitment and work ethic,” says Alan Kindsvater, an Edward Jones partner responsible for Advanced Branch Training, and host of the conference.

Working with Parker are Dee Borrelli and Kay Hardison.

This is Parker’s third time attending the conference.
