To the Editor,

Politics can often be a dirty game, but lately it seems to have gotten more dirty than usual. There are quiet whisper campaigns going o spreading false rumors about candidates in the current runoffs. The use of last minute shallow slick post cards mailed to smear an opponent are bad enough, but using sneaky whisper campaigns is an attack on the very principles of our democracy.
Don’t be duped by these tactics. Voters need to research the candidates before they step into the voting booth. It is every voters reasonable responsibility to learn the true facts about the candidates before marking their ballot.
Let’s stop the whispering and instead let’s expose the true facts about the candidates.
