March 20, 1963 – July 20, 2014

Roberta Page Jaggers, age 51, a resident of Respess St., Washington, NC passed away Sunday, July 20, 2014 at her home. There will be a celebration of her life, with military honors, at 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 27, at Trinity Episcopal Church officiated by The Rev. J. M. Sonny Browne. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Garden. A reception will follow immediately after the interment in the parish hall.

Page was born March 20, 1963 in Nash County, daughter of the late William Joseph Capel and Jane Lee Page Capel Walden. She was raised as a military dependent living in five states and a foreign country. She graduated from Washington High School in 1981 and attended Beaufort County Community College. Page served in the United States Army. On May 8, 1999 she married  Timothy D. Jaggers who survives. Page worked at Pam’s Diner and as a EMT for Care First. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

In addition to her husband, Page is survived by her sons, Mitchell S. Smith and Phillip A. Smith both of Washington; her sisters, Kathy C. Taylor of Washington and Sherry C. Whitfield of Williamston; her maternal grandmother, Lena H. Page of Washington; her grandchild, Alexis; seven nephews; six nieces; two great nieces; and six grand nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-father, Andrew J. Walden; her paternal grandparents, W. Thomas and Effie Capel; her maternal grandfather, R. C. Page; and her maternal great-grandparents, Moma Kate and Daddy Walter.
