KATHERINE ANNELLE FULFORD

Nov. 12, 1943 – July 23, 2014

 

Mrs. Katherine Annelle McLendon Fulford, age 70, a resident of 4470 Pamlico Beach Road, Belhaven, NC died Wednesday July 23, 2014 at Vidant Beaufort Hospital in Washington.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM today at Ryder Hill Cemetery in the Pamlico Beach community officiated by Rev. Dean Fulford, Jr.

Mrs. Fulford was born in Macon, GA on Nov. 12, 1943 daughter to the late John and Irene Rich Toole. She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1962. On July 17, 1981 she married Mr. Floyd Murrell Fulford of the home.

Surviving along with Mrs. Fulford’s husband are two sons, Johnny Gerber and wife Rosa of St. Louis, MO, Travis Gerber of Virginia Beach, VA, one step-son, Clifton Fulford and wife Monica of Washington, NC and a step-daughter, Liz Whisenant and husband Otis of Grimesland, NC. Mrs. Fulford also has two sisters, Mrs. Elaine Trammell and husband Ricky of Washington, OK and Mrs. Louise Sadler and husband Eugene of Tallahassee, FL. Mrs. Fulford is preceded in death by a step-son, Bengi Fulford.

FEDDIE R. HADDOCK

Dec. 3, 1925 – July 25, 2014

 

Mrs. Feddie Redic Haddock, age 88, a resident of 655 Possum Track Road, Chocowinity, NC died Friday morning July 25, 2014 at her home with her family at her side.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday July 28, 2014 at Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church of Chocowinity officiated by Rev. Henry Horne and Rev. Rudy Shepard.  Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens of Washington.  David Dixon, Brian Dixon, Jeremy Haddock, Dustin Allen, Mason Allen, James Johnston and Greg Everson will serve as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers will be Matt McCoy, Colton Dixon, Caleb Dixon, Brice Dixon and Talon Allen.

The family will receive friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday July 27, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home & Crematory of Washington and other times at the home.

Mrs. Haddock was born in Greene County on December 3, 1925 daughter of the late Willie David Redic and the late Pennia Elizabeth Mooring Redic.  She was a 1942 graduate of Farmville High School and married Heber Latham Haddock, Jr. on April 24, 1946 who preceded her in death on May 11, 1993.  Along with serving her family as a homemaker she worked at Hamilton Beach of Washington for twenty-one years.  Mrs. Haddock was a member of Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church where she was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class.  She enjoyed her family, crafts and quilting.

As a housewife she raised a wonderful family including four daughters: Linda H. McCoy and her husband Vernon of Cove City, Velma H. Everson of Wilmington, Anne H. Martin and her husband Mike of Creswell and Joan H. Dixon and her husband Jesse of Chocowinity; three sons: Charles Haddock of Winterville, Jeff Haddock and his wife Sandy of Chocowinity and Larry Haddock of Chocowinity; a brother: Bobby Redic of Jacksonville; fourteen grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome and appreciated and the family kindly asks for any memorial contributions to be made to Union Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, Senior Saints Fund, P.O. Box 38, Chocowinity, NC 27817.
