From the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office

On Aug. 5, 2014, deputies with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division served an arrest warrant on Samuel Todd Gaskins, 30, of 155 Taylor Lane, Chocowinity. The arrest warrant stemmed from an investigation into Gaskin’s involvement in the distribution of prescription pain medication conducted by the Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit. Investigators conducted a controlled purchase of Oxycodone (schedule II controlled substance) from Gaskins.

Samuel Gaskins was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance. Gaskins was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $3,000 secured bond.
