From the Washington Police Department 

On Aug. 7, 2014, the Washington Police arrested three people on drug charges: Dia Antoine Lawrence, 33, of Jackson Swamp Road, Bath; Maro Devon Williams, 33, of Van Norden Street, Washington; and Jonathan Hopkins, 33, of Havens Street, Washington.

Each defendant was charged with possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, conspiracy to sell or deliver marijuana, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hopkins had an additional charge of maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance.

Lawrence and Williams were placed in Beaufort County Detention with a $31,000 bond each. Hopkins bond was set at $41,000.

Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
