DAVID CUCCHIARA | DAILY NEWS MIDNIGHT MADNESS: The Washington football team held it’s annual Meet the Pam Pack preseason event Friday night at Kuglar Field. Hundreds of local supporters filled the stands as head coach Sport Sawyer, defensive coordinator Jon Blank and the rest of the coaching staff ran the team through a series of full-contact drills, while coach Steven Flowers directed his junior varsity team on the opposite side of the field. The drills matched quarterback Patrick Thompson and the first-team offense, minus starting running back Markel Spenser, against the first-team defense, spearheaded by outside linebacker Jamond Ebron. Washington will head to Southside High School at 6 p.m. on Friday to participate in a series of scrimmages against local squads, including the Seahawks and Northside Panthers.
