Ruth’s House, a local, faith-based nonprofit whose mission is to offer shelter, programs and services for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence, is pleased to announce the hiring of Sara Waters as the new shelter manager. “Sara comes to us with over 10 years of management experience.” said Kim Etheredge, executive director of Ruth’s House. Her experience with domestic violence and strong interpersonal skills combined with her ability to utilize available resources effectively and efficiently will be of great benefit to the shelter.” Waters started her new position Aug. 1.
