From Eastern Radiologists

Eastern Radiologists is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Anjali Malik to their group of Breast Imaging Center physicians.

Malik is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine. Her radiology residency was completed at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Malik received breast imaging and intervention fellowship training at George Washington University.

“We are very pleased to have Malik join our breast imaging team,” noted Dr. Michael McLaughlin, president of Eastern Radiologists. “Her extensive experience in breast imaging, including training in the latest techniques such as breast tomosynthesis, makes her well suited to join our exceptional team of radiologists.”

In her role at Eastern Radiologists,  Malik will meet with patients at the Breast Imaging Center and also support the Kinston and Washington outpatient facilities, as well as provide services specific to breast imaging at any of the 13 hospitals Eastern Radiologists serves.

Malik notes, “I am not only excited about living in eastern North Carolina but also in sharing the passion of women’s health with my fellow physicians and breast imaging staff.  It is a proven fact that early detection saves lives and I’m looking forward to putting my experience to work, doing just that for the people of this region.”
