WHS senior attends NC Association of County Commissioners

BEAUFORT COUNTY GOVERNMENT | CONTRIBUTED YOUTH COMMISSION: Amy Arnold, Washington High School Senior and daughter of Andrew and Melissa Arnold, attended the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners meeting Aug. 15-16, 2014. Amy was honored to be chosen to represent the youth of Beaufort County as their Youth Summit delegate. Prior to the meeting, Amy had the pleasure of interviewing Beaufort County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jerry Langley to learn more about county government. Amy said it was a great experience and she enjoyed talking with several county commissioners.  She encourages everyone to learn more about county legislature and to get involved.
