CMS participates in Brown Library’s Talk Like a Pirate Day

CHOCOWINITY MIDDLE SCHOOL | CONTRIBUTED VISITING BROWN LIBRARY: As part of Library Card Sign-Up Month, Chocowinity Middle School Media Coordinator Lisa Baker took her fifth grade classes to visit the Brown Library in Washington. Brown Library Children’s Librarian Terry Rollins met each class and gave them a tour of the library along with a history lesson about how the library came to be. At the end of the visit, Rollins (pictured) read a pirate story to students in honor of Talk Like a Pirate Day.
