From the Washington Yacht & Country Club

The Washington Yacht & Country Club announced recently that Spencer Stanley has joined the club to further develop their growing membership. Stanley comes with a wealth of experience in both business development and finance, having spent several years as a national sales manager with a manufacturing company where he increased their sales by over 50 percent within a three-year period. He has also served locally as chief finance officer for a local non-profit, is active in Washington Noon Rotary and is a board member of Beaufort County United Way.

“I’m excited to start a new challenge and look forward to working with the current members of the club in growing their membership,” Stanley said. “I am fortunate to be joining such a caring staff that prides itself on top quality service, and am confident that we can build a stronger, more vibrant membership. The venue is outstanding and the possibilities for growth are substantial.”

Daniel Bergevin, WYCC president, said, “Spencer’s experience and enthusiasm will make him a key addition to the WYCC. His addition is a sign of our commitment to continue our growth, increasing our services to our existing members, and building for the future. Increasing demand from our members led us to look for an addition to our team who will fit in with our culture and help provide the creativity we need to expand. We are fortunate to find someone of Spencer’s caliber to fulfill this role. Washington is very fortunate to have a club of this quality, and we’re fortunate to add Spencer to our family.”
