DON REDDEN WARREN SR.

Mr. Don Redden Warren, Sr., 80, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 pm in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park.

Mr. Warren was a native of Pitt County and a veteran of the U.S. Navy in the Korean War.  He was the owner and operator of the Midway Grill in Pactolus for thirty seven years.  He was a member of the Ruritan Club of Pactolus and Pactolus Baptist Church.  Don was an avid sports fan, NASCAR fan, and enjoyed coaching his grandchildren’s sport teams.  He was an avid gardener, who enjoyed sharing his vegetables with friends and neighbors.  A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
