A HAUNTING IN ENGLEHARD: The Engelhard Volunteer Fire Department is getting ready for its 11th annual Haunted Firehouse. Landace Cutrell and a handful of volunteers are in the middle of construction as the props are being put in place by wife, Crystal. The haunted firehouse is a grassroots project started by Crystal Halla Cutrell in 2003 and has been a growing success ever since. Admission is $5. This year the volunteers will have a concession stand and a selection of items for sale including t-shirts. The haunted firehouse opens on Fridays, Oct. 17, 24 and 31 and Saturdays, October 18 and Oct. 25, from 7 p.m. until. The Engelhard Volunteer Fire Department is located at 34545 US HWY 264.
