State Road 1626, both directions northwest of Pantego, will be closed for maintenance starting Monday, Nov. 3, 2014 and ending on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014. Construction will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The N.C. Department of Transportation issued the notice, giving detour information. The following route has been suggested for detour: Start on SR 1626 to SR 1621 to SR 1628 to U.S. Hwy 264 to N.C. Hwy 99 to SR 1625 and end on SR 1626.
