BEAUFORT COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE | CONTRIBUTED CREATURE FROM THE DEEP: Students and teachers from P.S. Jones Middle School came face-to-face with a creature from the deep ocean Tuesday during a tour of the Beaufort County Community College campus. Pictured, Anatomy and Physiology Instructor Jason Jackson shows a moray eel specimen to a group of students, some of whom react to the smell of chemical preservatives. The visit to one of BCCC’s science labs was part of a morning visit to the agriculture, automotive, cosmetology and nursing programs on the campus. Other eighth grade students were scheduled to visit the campus later in the week.
