THOMAS FOSTER

Mr. Thomas Howard “Tommy” Foster, age 68, a resident of 900 Pungo Village Rd., Belhaven, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven and will be officiated by Rev. Dean Fulford, Jr. Burial will be in Brunswick, Georgia.

Mr. Foster was born in Beaufort County on September 21, 1946 to the late Burl Thomas Foster and Selmarie Guthrie Melvin. Mr. Foster was a lifetime commercial fisherman and was a member of the Hard Knocks of Fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Angela Foster Stalls and husband Danny of Robersonville, Amy Foster Banks of Washington, one son, Vernon Thomas Sadler of Swan Quarter, one sister, Selma Ann Foster Brooks of Kingsland, Georgia, two brothers, Ronald L. Foster and wife Lavoyne of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Donald W. Foster and wife Kathie of Fernandina Beach, Florida and eleven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Pamlico Beach Fire Department, 382 Old Pamlico Beach Rd. W., Belhaven, NC  27810 or to the Pamlico Beach Cemetery Commission Fund, P.O. Box 603, Belhaven, NC 27810.
