LARRY THOMAS MOORE

Aug. 16, 1949 – Nov. 14, 2014

 

Mr. Larry Thomas Moore, age 65, a resident of 1268 Biggs Road, Pinetown, died Friday, November 14, 2014.

Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Wayside Presbyterian Church and will be conducted by Rev. Ola Forbes Jr. The family will receive friends from 1:15 pm until service time at the church.

Mr. Moore was born in Beaufort County on August 16, 1949 to the late Julius E. and Bonnie Louise Tyer Moore. On August 16, 2006 he married Melisa Jane Forbes who survives.  Mr. Moore was a 1968 graduate of Washington High School, served in the United States Army, was an avid outdoorsman where he loved to hunt and fish, was a quality control inspector for Carver Machine Works for many years and was a member of Wayside Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Melisa Forbes Moore of the home, two daughters Kellie Wallace and husband Adam, Erin Terry and husband Mike, one step daughter, April Weaver and husband Donald, one brother, Danny Wayne Moore and wife Gloria, two sisters, Hilda Bundy and husband Charlie, Debbie Moore, brother in law, Jason Forbes, brother and sister in law, Al and Olive Jones, father and mother in law, Ola and Gloria Forbes, nieces, April Schmidt, Laura Moore and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Rodney Moore.
