ARENDELL PARROTT ACADEMY | CONTRIBUTED PROFICIENCY AND SERVICE: Arendell Parrott Academy recently inducted 45 students into the Tri-M Music Society, which recognizes proficiency and service in the field of music. The society takes its name from the words Modern, Music and Masters. Tri-M members are selected based on scholarship, character, leadership and service. Parrott’s Tri-M Society hosts a December benefit concert in the school lobby, participates in fall and spring concerts and supports the Students Teaching Students program that pairs younger music students with more advanced students for private and group lessons. Students who take guitar, chorus and orchestra are eligible for membership in Tri-M. Pictured are Arendell Parrott Academy Tri-M Music Society members Jared Hall (Snow Hill), Hawes Collier (Washington), Ian Rodeberg (Farmville) and Conner Rodeberg (Farmville).
