Arc of BeauCo. holds raffle ticket drawing at Arc November meeting

SANDRA BUCKMAN | CONTRIBUTED WINNING TICKET: The Arc of Beaufort County held their raffle ticket drawing at the Arc November membership meeting. Cindy Ehlers, East Carolina Behavioral Health Clinical Director presented the program and drew the winning ticket at the program conclusion. Cindy shared about how ECBH is investing in new services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc has worked with and for people in this community with intellectual challenges for over forty years. The Arc plans to partner with ECBH in bringing many new opportunities to our community like after-school programs, summer day camp, and technological programs. Frances is a teacher’s assistant at Rose High School in Greenville and works in the special education department. Nina Buckman (right) sold the winning ticket at Sam's Club in Greenville. Nina's mother is Sandra Buckman the Director of The Arc of BC. The funds raised from ticket sales will be used to purchase items at Christmas for people with I/DD. The Arc of BC sends a special thanks to all who purchased tickets and invested into the lives of people with special needs.
