LUCINDA PICKENS LOCKWOOD

Lucinda Pickens Lockwood, age 80, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014, at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.

Cindy (“Nammoe” to her beloved grandchildren) was born in Charlotte, NC, on January 22, 1934, to the late Sarah Wakefield Pickens and Marshall Ivey Pickens.  She was married to the late H. Beecher Lockwood, Jr, in 1957.

Survivors include her children, Lucinda L. Edwards (Wilson) of Washington, NC, and H. Beecher Lockwood III, of Anderson, SC, her sister, Sarah Pickens Williamson (Worth) of Charlotte, NC, and brother, Marshall Ivey Pickens, Jr. (Bitsy) of Anderson, SC; her grandsons, J. Hardy Andrews, H. B. Lockwood, IV, James B. Andrews, John Wootten Lockwood, Daniel P. Lockwood and Thomas W. Edwards, Jr. as well as many much loved nieces and nephews.
