NORTHSIDE HIGH SCHOOL | CONTRIBUTED SPORT MEETS ART: The Northside High School art department, as a year-end to exhibit growth in art making, created a miniature golf course. The course was comprised of 12 holes, each inspired by an artist such as Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Vincent Van Gogh and Salvador Dali. Students worked as a group to complete each hole from re-purposed cardboard, tape and acrylic paint. To celebrate the accomplishment and the end of the year, students spent the last 30 minutes of the class period enjoying their artwork. In the background, Sydney Woolard, Rachel Russ and Tucker Mooring putt on an Andy Warhol-inspired miniature golf hole created by Emily Box, Reggie Slade, Cameron Matkins and Kyle Blount.
