LARRY WAYNE HADDOCK

Jan. 3, 1950 – Feb. 10, 2015

 

Mr. Larry Wayne Haddock, age 65, a resident of 655 Possum Track Road, Chocowinity, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 12, 2015 from the Chapel of Paul Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, conducted by Pastor Henry Horne. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Haddock was born in Pitt County on January 3, 1950.  He was the son of the late Heber L. Haddock and Feddie Redic Haddock.  Mr. Haddock was owner and operator of Larry Haddock Trucking. His primary focus was his family and friends.  Mr. Haddock enjoyed helping folks. He was a sponsor for Relay for Life, participated in the Chocowinity parades, and enjoyed traveling in his tour bus. Mr. Haddock loved spending time with his granddaughter, Zoey and his dog, Bowser.

Mr. Haddock is survived by his daughter, Gwendolyn H. Braddy and husband, Eric of Vanceboro; granddaughter, Zoey Marie Braddy of Vanceboro; four sisters, Velma Everson of Wilmington, Anne Martin and husband, Mike of Creswell, Joan Dixon and husband, Jesse of Chocowinity, Linda McCoy and husband, Vernon of Cove City; two brothers, Charles Haddock of Winterville, Jeff Haddock and wife, Sandy of Chocowinity; special friend, Joy Bell of Washington; and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington and other times at his home.
