Eastern Elementary receives book from aerial applicator

EASTERN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL A PEAK INTO THE LIFE OF AN AERIAL APPLICATOR:  Eastern Elementary School received "Soaring: Adventures of an Aerial Applicator" from President of the Women's NCAAA, Rita Lee and husband (Pilot) Larry Macon Lee. First grade student, Gabe Niederhauser, Larry and Rita Lee's great nephew, helped receive the book for Eastern Elementary. On behalf of the North Carolina Agricultural Aviation Association we present this book autographed by author Bethany Morton-Gannaway. Mr Larry Lee says, "As an aerial applicator myself, we are trying to get the word out to all the kids the importance of our job. There are 34 aerial applicators in North Carolina and we will have distributed 34 books on behalf of our pilots. Our goal is to have one in every elementary school in our state."
