N.C. Hwy 32, both directions in Washington, will be closed starting Monday, March 16, 2015 through Saturday, March 21, 2015, for storm water drain installation. The N.C. Department of Transportation issued the notice, giving detour information. The following route has been suggested for detour: traveling east, take SR 1422 (Market Street) to U.S. Hwy 264 Business East to SR 1352 (Hudnell Street), back to N.C. Hwy 32; traveling west, take SR 1352 (Hudnell Street) to U.S. Hwy 264 Business West, to SR 1422 (Market Street), back to N.C. Hwy 32. The length of the detour is estimate at 1.9 miles.
