BATH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
MATH ATTACK: On Saturday, March 14, Beaufort County Schools held a Math Competition for grades 3 – 5 at John Small School. Eighty-eight students participated, representing various schools throughout Beaufort County.

Bath Elementary School sent teams from third and fourth grades. Students had to compete individually as well as on a team.

Mrs.  Katherine Holt’s third-grade team won the first-place prize, while Mrs. Debra Boyd’s third-grade team won third place. One of the fourth-grade teams, who named themselves “Math Attack,” won first place. Fourth grade teams were under the instruction of Mrs. Carla Dickerson.

Bath Elementary School had several students who earned top prizes individually.   From Mrs. Holt’s class, Ethan Beattie won second place and Tyler Moore won third place. From Mrs. Dickerson’s class, Damyon Swonger won the first place individual award with a perfect score!
