July 20, 1948 – June 17, 2015

 

Mrs. Brenda Kay Jackson Lockridge, age 66, a resident of Bath, died Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at Vidant Medical Center of Greenville.

A celebration of Mrs. Brenda’s life will be held 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at River City Christian Center of Washington, officiated by Danny Robertson.

The family will also receive friends at the home of Mrs. Brenda’s daughter, Pam Pippin, located at 1305 Bayview Road, Bath.

Mrs. Brenda was born in Etowah County, Ala., on July 20, 1948, daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Jackson and the late Evelyn Lamar Jackson. She was a 1967 graduate of Emma Sansom High School in Gadsden, Ala. Mrs. Brenda was a member of Ridgeway District Volunteer Fire Department ladies auxiliary in Ridgeway, Va., and a member of River City Christian Center of Washington.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam L. Pippin and husband G.K., of Bath; a son, Michael Darren Lockridge, of Ridgeway, Va.; a brother, Charles Wilson Jackson, of Alabama; a sister, Jane Rhoades of Stockbridge, Ga.; four grandchildren, Trey and Ashley Pippin and Allison and Matthew Lockridge; and a great-grandchild, Bentley Ryan Lockridge.
