Boys and Girls Club of Washington reopens gymnasium

WASHINGTON-BEAUFORT COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE GOOD AS NEW: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain held a ribbon cutting for the reopening of its gymnasium at the Washington Unit located at 1089 N. Bridge St. to showcase the Club’s new roof, HVAC, lighting, storage and safety elements. The newly renovated facility will serve approximately 100 youth per day thanks to the Kate B. Reynolds Foundation. A grant in the amount of $150,000 was awarded to increase healthy lifestyles in Beaufort County.
