Frances E. Woolard
June 26, 1934 – July 26, 2015

Frances Elizabeth Woolard, age 81, a resident of River Trace Nursing Center of Washington, died peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2015.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Woolard family cemetery located at Alger Lane, officiated by Marty Alligood. The family will visit with friends following the service. Per Aunt Frances’ request, the casket will be closed.

Miss Woolard was born in Beaufort County on June 26, 1934, daughter of the late Dennis and Grace Everson Woolard. She graduated from Bath High School. Frances never married but dedicated her life to her family whom she loved dearly, especially her nephews and their families. She worked many years in the production industry in Washington, and shopping was her favorite pastime.

Survivors include her brother: Alger Gray Woolard and wife Sue; nephews: Al Woolard and wife Amy, Kevin Woolard and wife Candace and Eric Woolard and his wife Missy; four great-nephews and two great-nieces, all of Washington.

Miss Frances was preceded in death by a sister: Ruth Rae Woolard and a brother-in-law: Ervin Woolard.
