PURPOSE OF GOD ANNEX OUTREACH CENTER BIRDS OF A FEATHER: Students enrolled in Purpose of God Annex Outreach Center’s summer program completed a science project recently, in which the children learned about birds and how they use things found in the environment to make a nest. The students toured the back yard of the Annex looking for twigs, straw and other items to make a nest using dirt, water and glue. The nest was placed in a tree in the back yard in hopes a bird could find a home there. Pictured are the bird’s nest project and some of the children who participated in the project: (front, from left) Dominique Arthur, Joshua Jones, Camille Nelson, ReAna Jones; (middle, from left) Brandie Jones, Linasia Hines, Javier Ross, Zion Riddick, Joseph McKinney; (back, from left) Taquan Guilford and Lanaya McKinney.
