CREATIVE UNDERGROUND: Leesa and Milton Jones were program guests of Washington Noon Rotary, Aug. 3. Leesa discussed the history of the Underground Railroad in Washington and the story of the “not so red” caboose downtown. The couple will also perform at Washington’s Creative Underground, a joint fundraiser for the Washington Underground Railroad Museum and Arts of the Pamlico, Aug. 13 from 7-9 p.m. at the Turnage Theatre in Washington.
