Mary L. Hopkins

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Linton Hopkins, age 84, a resident of 210 Sandpiper Dr., Kill Devil Hills, NC, died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Virginia Beach General Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home in Belhaven. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven.

Mrs. Hopkins was born in Hopewell, Virginia on January 25, 1931 to the late John Williams Linton and Betty Thomas Quidley. On November 5, 1949 she married David Stanley Hopkins Jr. Mrs. Hopkins was a member of Pike Road Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband; two sons: Stanley Hopkins and Wayne Hopkins, both of Kill Devil Hills; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by two children: John Bart Hopkins and Paulette Delone Hopkins; two brothers: William Paul Linton and Sherman Jackson Linton and one sister: Cleeta Marie Roach.
