11th annual Alzheimer’s Walk and Education Fair

EMILY ALBERA | CONTRIBUTED RAISE AWARENESS: Despite the threat of rain on Saturday, the 11th annual Alzheimer’s Walk and Education Fair went on as planned at Red Men’s Lodge on Third Street in Washington from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Pictured are a group of participants walking to raise awareness for Alzheimer’s during the first part of the event. After the walk, there was also a gathering of medical experts, a station for flu shots, a silent auction and free food to help engage and educate the public about the disease.
