JOSEPH SAVAGE RAIN, SLEET OR SNOW: Joseph Savage is spending these rainy days in front of Piggly Wiggly at Washington Square Mall, raising funds to buy Thanksgiving turkeys for the Zion Shelter and Kitchen in Washington. Those donating to the cause buy a raffle ticket and spin the roulette wheel for an opportunity to win a discounted bottle of Savage Beast, Savage’s line of cleaning products. Top prize is a $100 Piggly Wiggly gift certificate. “Rain, sleet or snow, the fundraiser must go on because having no food around Thanksgiving and Christmas? No one should have to be that way in one of the richest countries in the world,” Savage said.
