Man charged with multiple breaking and enterings

On Nov. 25, 2015, at approximately 10:08 p.m., the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a breaking and entering and larceny from a business on Cherry Run Road in Washington. The Sheriff’s Office began an investigation and collected evidence.

As a result of information and evidence gathered, Investigator Jason Hill applied for and obtained warrants charging Mark Clarke Campbell III, 24, of Robersonville Road, Washington, with one count of felony breaking and entering, one count of larceny after breaking and entering. Campbell was also charged with two additional counts of breaking and entering, one count of larceny after breaking and entering and one count of attempted larceny after additional evidence was gathered from two unrelated break ins of a business on U.S. Highway 264 East in Washington.

On Nov. 30, Campbell was arrested by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office and held in the Beaufort County Detention Center on a $25,000 secured bond set by Magistrate Donald Sadler.
