CHOCOWINITY PRIMARY SCHOOL SHOWCASING TALENT: Chocowinity Primary School rings in the holiday season every year with its winter musical, "A Motown Christmas Review," the theme of the 2015 program. Music Director Elizabeth Payne organized a festive program that included first-grade students singing such favorites as "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." In keeping with the Motown theme, members of the third- and fourth-grades show choir presented several toe-tapping numbers, including the Jackson 5 hit "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." The students offered a sneak peek to the CPS family before debuting the show Dec. 10 in a community performance at Southside High School. Highlights of the program were again presented during an encore performance later during CPS's holiday sing-along Dec. 18.
