EASTERN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
VALENTINES: Eastern Elementary School students in Laura Gould and Irene Smith’s class are working on making special Valentine’s Day cards. They add a personal touch as they stamp hearts, place stickers and trace their name onto the cards. These Valentines will be sent to deployed service members through the program Hugs for Soldiers, which “would like to connect hearts at home with hearts overseas by sending ‘HUGS’ through Valentine cards.”
