GREENVILLE — East Carolina junior guard Lance Tejada announced via Twitter on Monday his plan to transfer from the basketball program. It seemingly opened the floodgates for others as Pirate Radio reported junior guard Charles Foster and sophomore forward Grant Bryant intended on leaving the program, too.

Tejada averaged 14.9 minutes off the bench this past season. He struggled to find a rhythm on offense, averaging 4.4 points a game and shooting below 30 percent.

Foster appeared in 21 of ECU’s 32 games as a reserve guard, averaging just 2.2 points a game. Despite the small sample size, he showed the ability to provide scoring depth — especially from 3-point range.

Bryant appeared in just 13 games. He got his first significant minutes against Florida Atlantic during the non-conference stretch. He finished the game second in scoring with 12 points as ECU cruised to a 74-48 win. That was about it for noticeable playing time, though. He averaged just seven minutes in the 13 games he played.
