Clarence Anderson Beacham Sr.
April 6, 1927 – April 23, 2016 

Clarence left this world to be with his Heavenly Father on April 23, 2016. Clarence loved his family, his friends, but most of all he was a Christian and loved his Heavenly Father above all else. He was a shining example of what it means to be one with our Lord and Savior.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Second Baptist Church and will be officiated by Pastor John R. Koch. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Joshua Barker, Chase Andrew, Zach Andrew, Wayne Craig, Kevin Craig, Michael Craig, Lewis Holloman, Nathan Cutler and Jason Lewis will serve as pallbearers.

Clarence was born on April 6, 1927 to Myrtle and Clinton Beacham in Washington. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Daniels Beacham, four sisters Essie B. Latham, Irene B. Roberson, Rosa Mae Winstead and Mattie Beacham, two brothers, Lyman Beacham and Russell Beacham and one grandson William Lewis.

Clarence worked at Mason Lumber Company for 45 years, retiring as manager. He was an active member of Second Baptist Church and loved spending time with his friends and family. He never saw a stranger and was always there to help anyone in any way he could until his health no longer allowed him to do so. His favorite place to be was in his shop building and fixing things for so many, for individuals and for several churches, he was a faithful servant for as long as he lived.

Survivors include his son Clarence Anderson “Andy” Beacham Jr. and wife Nell, along with daughters Cathy Craig and husband Wayne, Teresa Mobley and husband Bud, Cindy Cutler, Michelle McCollum and husband James and Danielle Barker and husband Candler, Carol Waters and a friend that was like a second son to him Billy Braddy and wife Caroline, grandchildren Andrea B. Carver and husband Raymond, Lewis Holloman and wife Emmy, Michael Craig and wife Jamie, Kevin Craig and wife Kim, Nathan Cutler, Tieranny Cutler, Elizabeth Ann Cutler, Jason Lewis and wife Nicole, Macy Andrew, Zach Andrew, Chase Andrew, Maddyson Lewis, Joshua Barker and Logan Barker, Mike Waters and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Second Baptist Church and other times at the home of his son, Andy Beacham, 364 Neck Road, Washington.
