Sharon J. Ragland

Mrs. Sharon Jones Ragland, age 61, a resident of 326 S. Wedgewood Drive, Washington, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at her home.

Mrs. Ragland was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on Sept. 4, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Ollie Calvin Jones and Mattie Louise Markland Jones. Mrs. Ragland was a homemaker. She was employed at the Bank of Clarendon in Manning, S.C. for a number of years.

On Jan. 25, 1979, she married Kenneth E. Ragland, who survives.

Surviving with her husband are her children, Edward Ragland, William Ragland and wife, Holly, Whitney Somers and husband, Bobby; nine grandchildren, Maddison Somers, Lathon Somers, Charlotte Somers, Turner Ragland, Landon Ragland, Asher Ragland, Addison Ragland, Aiden Ragland, Collin Lee; two brothers, Gary W. Jones, Ricky E. Jones; uncle, Harold Markland and close friend, Sharon Williams.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ragland was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Jones.
