Construction is under way for the new Cook Out location on Carolina Avenue between El Tapatio and Down East Motor Co. in Washington. The project has been in the works for a few years, with original plans calling for indoor seating. The current design will instead include some outdoor seating and drive-thru service. Officials expect the Cook Out location to open in the next few months.
