CAR FIRE: A car fire in the Food Lion parking lot on 15^th Street in Washington was quickly extinguished on Thursday afternoon by efforts of Washington Fire and EMS. According to Washington Fire and EMS Battalion Chief Doug Bissette, the fire was out within seven minutes of the department’s arrival. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
