Mrs. Katherine Briley Cratt, 81, of 25 Sunnybrook Road, Raleigh, and formerly of West Green Street, Robersonville, died Thursday, Feb. 20, 2003, at Sunnybrook Nursing Home, Raleigh.
A funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home, Robersonville. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Cratt was born in Pitt County on May 12, 1921. She was the daughter of the late William Watson Briley and Maggie Smith Briley. On Dec. 28, 1939, she married William D. Cratt, who preceded her in death on May 8, 2000. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Hassells Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeanette C. Gray of Raleigh; one son, Billy Cratt of Bailey; two sisters, Maggie Lee Williams of Rocky Mount and Betty Pearl Winberry of Robersonville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Biggs Funeral Home, Robersonville.
