Mr. Harvey Jerome Ison, 39, of 1723 U.S. Highway 17 North, Merry Hill, died Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Everridge Funeral Home, Whitesburg, Ky. Burial will follow in Sandlick Cemetery.
Mr. Ison was born in East Chicago, Ind., on July 29, 1963. He was the son of Dorothy Blair Ison and the late Harvey Marion Ison. He was married to Almeda Rogers Ison, who survives. He was a heavy equipment operator and was employed by Heckett-Multiserv.
Survivors include two daughters, Jacqueline Ann Adams and Melissa Renee Ison, both of Whitesburg, Ky.; one stepdaughter, Carla Bivens of Tyner; two stepsons, Edward Adkins of Tyner and Ronald Adkins of Elizabeth City; and two brothers, George M. Ison of Mayking, Ky., and Jeff A. Ison of Whitesburg, Ky.
The family will receive friends Friday at Everridge Funeral Home, Whitesburg, Ky.
