The Advantage

It appears that North Korea, seeing that the United States is about tied down with troubles with Iraq, has seized upon that factor to move forward with its nuclear program.
In an Associated Press release, it states that "North Korea has reactivated a reactor at its main nuclear complex, the first step toward production of additional nuclear weapons."
According to the story, it reads that North Korea right now can build perhaps five or six platinum bombs. That country might already have two nuclear weapons ready for use. It is being pointed out in some circles that North Korea is fast becoming a greater threat to the United States than is Iraq and Saddam. How far Iraq is along the nuclear line is still a matter of conjecture. That is the difference between Iraq and North Korea. Possession of nuclear weapons poses a distinct advantage.
