James Norman

Mr. James Edward Norman, 72, of 15761 U.S. Hwy. 64 East, Roper, died Thursday, March 20, 2003 at Washington County Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Elder Daniel Gilliam officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Norman was born in Washington County on April 23, 1930, the son of the late James Richard Norman and Commie James Norman. He was employed as a forklift operator at Mackey Lumber Mill.
Survivors include his wife, Everlena Norman of the home; three sons, James Robinson of East Orange, N.J., Larry Norman of Williamston and Ronell Norman of Elizabeth, N.J.; two daughters, Sandra Norman Dunbar of Roper and Carnell Norman of Portsmouth, Va.; two brothers, Sylvester Norman and Charles Webb, both of Roper; four sisters, Pauline Cutler of Philadelphia, Pa., Delzora Rhodes of Roper, Ora Allen of White Plains, N.Y. and Virginia Webb of Mt. Vernon, N.Y.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. tonight at Shiloh Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) and at other times at the home.
Arrangements are by Toodle's Funeral Home, Plymouth.
