Hayward "Woody" Rogers

Hayward G. "Woody" Rogers Jr., 52, of New Bern, died Wednesday at his residence.
Mr. Rogers was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 20 years. He also loved fishing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cotten Funeral Home Chapel with military honors with the Rev. Walter Graves officiating. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Memorial Park.
He is survived by his widow, Sandy Rogers, of the home; his father, Hayward G. "Tink" Rogers Sr., and his mother, Janet J. Rogers, of Barre, Mass.; two daughters, Christine Morgan of Washington and Tammy Tucker of Vancouver, Wash.; three brothers, Richard Rogers of Northboro, Mass.; Mark Rogers of Grantsboro, N.C., and Keith Rogers of Charlton City, Mass.; one sister, Carolyn Johnson of Sturbridge, Mass.; four grandchildren: Alec, Kierah, Jacob, Lily.
Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at Cotten Funeral Home.
