Mr. Jesse Washington Moore of 1309 Washington St., Washington, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003, at Ridgewood Nursing Home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Spring Garden Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. E.R. McNair officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Moore was born April 12, 1928, the son of Lotford and Irene Washington Moore. He attended the Beaufort County schools. He was married to Julia Barber Moore, who survives.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Dorsey of Washington; two sons, Jesse W. Moore Jr. of Washington and Jesse R. Williams of New York, N.Y.; one sister, Betty L. Williams of Washington; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, John Williams.
The family will receive friends at the home.
