Mrs. Emily Chesson Rhodes, 62, of 1298 Zeke Rhodes Lane, Williamston, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Martin Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Roger Leggett officiating.
Mrs. Rhodes was born in Washington County, the daughter of the late Monroe and Marie Phelps Chesson. She was married to Shannon L. Rhodes, who survives. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Rhodes Holliday and Denise Rhodes Barber, both of Williamston; three brothers, Bobby Chesson of Roper, Jimmy Chesson of Plymouth, and Jack Chesson of Tampa, Fla.; four sisters, Shirley Goff of Hassell, Linda Alligood of Plymouth, Marion Utterback of Manassa, Va., and Teenie Chesson of Odessa, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston.
